Need a bubbly friend who’s always down to do things for the plot? Hi :)

Hiya! I recently moved to Helsinki permanently and I’m looking for genuine, long-lasting friendships. Before this, I studied my Bachelor’s abroad, did my Master’s in Turku, and lived a couple of years in the north, so most of my friends are now scattered around Finland. So… why should we be friends? Let’s see: -I’m very social and open-minded. Very little shocks me, so you’d have in me a safe, non-judgmental friend who genuinely listens. -I respect people’s boundaries (hopefully you do too lol). -I’m more extroverted, but somehow most of my close friends end up being introverts. I promise I don’t “adopt introverts,” it just happens that way. -I go to therapy weekly and journal regularly, so I’m not looking for friends to double as therapists. -My field is international relations / human rights / law. -Oh yes! I am a fan of Resident Evil since 2000 so...huge plus if you like them and play with me. What I’m looking for: -No online friends, I prefer meeting in person. -I don’t really mind gender or age. -Basic compatibility matters though: no extreme right-wing people, racists, conspiracy theorists, or people who think microaggressions toward my nationality are up for debate (I’m Mexican). I enjoy deep conversations and discussions, but not lectures or conversion speeches. -I speak Finnish very poorly (work in progress 😭). I’d love to practice, but please don’t throw me into fully Finnish-speaking gatherings where I just stare at the wall the entire time. -I’ll be writing my Master’s thesis this summer, so if you’re also working on a thesis/publication and want library study sessions or even a writing retreat buddy, that’s a huge plus. -I’m terrible at sports (like genuinely awful lol), but I’m willing to try almost anything. Bonus points if you’d like to go to the gym together because I’ve never really gone and want to start. -Huge plus if you’re the type of person who is down to do things “for the plot.” Current interests: Learning Finnish, watercoloring, rollerblading, singing, birdwatching, and reading tarot cards. I’m a little woo-woo, but not too woo-woo hahaha. Anyway, hopefully we can connect, future bestie :)
