Hi everyone! I'm an English speaker, and my Finnish is far from fluent, so I'm looking for people who are comfortable with communicating in English. I'm looking for a twin sister or brother in Helsinki metropolitan area for a meaningful connection, for having both deep conversations and carefree fun as well as sharing hobbies. I do have a few good friends (and I met one of them on this website), but we have different life situations and lifestyles, so I don't see them nearly as much as I would like to. So, ideally, I'm hoping to find someone who has the same values as me and enough time and energy for another quality friendship.    I'm a 35-year-old female from Helsinki. However, I don't feel like I'm 35 at all, I feel like my life has only recently begun. I'm married and therefore looking for a strictly platonic kind of friendship. I'm an atheist, a pacifist and childfree by choice. A true cat lover and a proud guardian of an adopted cat. A housewife and occasional freelance worker with no intention of getting a regular job. I've been pursuing a creative career my whole life, I have an important and challenging role in the songwriting industry, but unfortunately, I'm often behind the scenes. I also take cat sitting gigs and lead walking tours in Helsinki whenever I have a chance, but I don't imagine doing anything other than these three things for a living. My creativity and mental energy are at their best at night. I always stay up late and wake up late, so I prefer planning all the social activities for late afternoon or evening.  Traveling is more than just a hobby for me; it's a passion, and it's vital for my mental health. Having a travel buddy who is fine with budget travels would be great: I strongly prefer hostels, pet sitting in exchange for free accommodation or Couchsurfing a few times a year to a luxury escape once a year. "A citizen of the world" is more than just a cliche, it's the way I truly feel. I'm an ambiverted and outgoing person who requires a lot of social interaction. I sometimes feel lonely in my marriage because my husband needs much more personal time than I do, and we have quite different interests.  Speaking of my interests: I enjoy playing board games and watching movies/series, especially psychological thrillers, dramas and plots with a twist. I'm quite outdoorsy, my favorite activities include swimming (both in summer and in cold water after sauna), berryand mushroom picking, beginner-level hiking and skywatching. I love singing karaoke and can definitely call myself a party person. I don't like nightclubs with loud electronic music, but I'm fond of parties in the style of 80s/90s/00s as well as different events that are often held in bars (pub quizzes, Bar Olympics, DildoBingo etc.) When there are no particular events I'm interested in, and I have an opportunity to host a party at my place, I will always take this chance to save money for my future travels and create a cozy environment where it's easier to communicate, with my lovely cat as a bonus :)  I love cooking something for my guests or together with them and entertain them with party games (I have all the Jackbox games, for example). Oh, and I love good meals (especially seafood, spicy food, comfort food) and will never say no to craft beer, a few Bloody Mary cocktails or any wine, so soberers and super healthy eaters will probably feel bored with me.  If you can relate to most of this, you're welcome to send me a message, I can't wait to know something about you :) I will try my best to reply to every meaningful message as soon as possible.
